The Tall Pine Painting referral reward pays when the project you referred is completed and paid in full. Not at booking, not at the estimate. On completion. That one detail is the whole programme, so here it is, spelled out.

Anyone in Vancouver, Clark County or the Portland metro who needs interior or exterior painting, cabinet refinishing, staining or commercial work. Send them to this site or give them (360) 785-6225.

They mention your name at the estimate
Your name has to be given as the referral source at or before their free estimate. We write it on the file right then, so there is never an argument later about who sent whom.

Their project is completed and paid in full
The referred job has to be a qualifying project of $2,500 or more, finished, walked through and paid. That is the trigger. Nothing is owed at booking, deposit or estimate.

You receive the reward
Once their final payment clears, we contact you and pay the reward. If two people you referred complete projects, you receive two rewards.
The rules, in plain English
- The reward is paid when the referred project is completed and paid in full. Not at booking or estimate.
- The person you refer must be a new customer who has not already requested an estimate from us.
- Your name must be given as the referral source at or before their free estimate.
- The referred project must itself be a qualifying project of $2,500 or more.
- One referral reward per completed project. No limit on how many people you refer.
- Tall Pine Painting LLC may modify or end the programme at any time, and any referral already completed before a change is honoured.
The full wording lives in our Terms of Service. The referred homeowner can still claim the 10% off all qualifying jobs over $2,500 on their own job; the two are separate. Offer terms.
Why on completion
Because a referral that pays at booking rewards a phone call, and one that pays on completion rewards a finished, paid-for paint job that the homeowner is happy with. That is the only kind of job we want to be referred for, and the only kind we want to pay for. It also means you never have to chase us: the trigger is a date on our own books.
